Dr. David J. Dexter has been providing eye care for Oswego County families for over 30 years with specializations in primary care, contact lenses, and ocular disease. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves on the board for the State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Dexter also serves the United States Congress as a representative of the American Optometric Association. After graduation from Optometry School in California with honors in 1978, Dr. Dexter was extensively published for his work in the development of new gas permeable contact lens materials. He resides in Oswego with his wife Dr. Lori Youngman.
